 Finish carpentry involves working both on the interior and exterior of the house. This includes but is not limited to: building stairs, installing wood siding, hanging doors, and mounting such items as wainscoting, bookcases and mantelpieces. To become proficient in this skill it takes years of training, where one must become familiar with a wide range of woodworking tools.
